Each team member plays a role in delivering accurate repairs, clear communication, and dependable service for drivers in Middletown, WI. The team below brings a shared focus on quality workmanship and customer care to every vehicle they service.
Bert F. - Owner
Meet Bert, Wrench Auto’s owner! With more than 30 years of experience in the automotive repair industry, his commitment to excellence has earned him ASE certification as a Certified Master Technician with an L1 Advanced Engine Performance Specialist designation. He is also a Master ASE Engine Machinist and ASE Undercar Specialist. Bert graduated from Madison Area Technical College’s Automotive Technology program with an Associate Degree in Applied Science. He enjoys the daily challenges the automotive industry presents and takes pride in helping customers keep their vehicles running reliably. Outside of work, Bert enjoys spending time with his wife, Kelli, their two daughters, and their dog, Scout. Together, they enjoy camping, boating, fishing, snowmobiling, and other outdoor family activities.
Andrew L. - Team Manager/COO
Andrew brings a strong background in leadership, technical training, and automotive service to his role as Team Manager and COO. He attended Westosha Central High School before serving six years in the U.S. Army, where he specialized in diesel and jet turbine engines. Andrew is ASE certified and furthered his education through Diesel Training School. He enjoys woodworking, fishing, boating, hiking, and camping in his free time. Andrew and his partner, Meagan, have four children: Izzy, Carter, Gracie, and Addie. Their family also includes two Labrador retrievers, Stout and Charlie.
Paul H. - Service Advisor
Paul is an ASE Certified Service Advisor who enjoys helping customers understand and maintain their vehicles. His dedication to service and problem-solving makes him a valuable resource for both customers and team members. Outside of work, Paul enjoys studying history, working with computers, participating in Bible studies, reading, and gaming. He is married, has two children, and shares his home with his dog, Arrow.
Kelli F. - Chief Quality Officer
Kelli serves as Wrench Auto’s Chief Quality Officer, bringing a strong background in healthcare and a passion for continuous improvement. She works behind the scenes to foster a culture of quality and ensure the organization consistently delivers products and services that meet high standards of excellence. Kelli enjoys the opportunity to take on new challenges and contribute to the company’s success. She and Bert are proud parents of two daughters and enjoy spending time outdoors fishing, boating, relaxing around bonfires, and making memories with their dog, Scout.
Carson P. - Automotive Technician
Carson is an Automotive Technician at Wrench Auto, where he helps diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicles while continuing to expand his skills in the automotive industry. He has earned his ASE G1 Light Duty Maintenance and Repair certification and is committed to providing quality workmanship for every customer. In addition to his work at Wrench Auto, Carson is currently attending Madison College to further his automotive technician training and education. Outside of the shop, he enjoys spending time outdoors, skateboarding, hanging out with friends, and spending time with his two dogs, Thor and Lucy.
Jake S. - Automotive Technician
Jake is an Automotive Technician with multiple certifications in engine performance and transmission repair. He enjoys diagnosing and repairing vehicles while continuing to expand his technical knowledge and skills. Outside of the shop, Jake enjoys fishing, biking, spending time outdoors, and working on various projects. He is the proud father of his son, Jacob, and enjoys time at home with his dog, Honey.
Matt B. - Shop Support Specialist / Service Advisor
Matt serves as a Shop Support Specialist and Service Advisor, helping keep daily operations running smoothly while supporting both customers and the service team. His attention to detail and willingness to help wherever needed make him an important part of the Wrench Auto team. Outside of work, Matt enjoys photography and videography, often focusing on automotive content through freelance projects. He and his wife, Rebekah, enjoy spending time outdoors with their two children, and together they love traveling, camping, hiking, and swimming whenever possible.
